POSITION DISCUSSED BY PRESBYTERY. By Te’eicrsph- -PTeis Association. WELLINGTON, April 13. At a meeting of the Wellington presbytery, the question of the- status of Dr. Gibb was discussed. The Rev. Air Comrie moved that Dr Gibb bo granted the- position of senior minister of St. John’s congregation, on week duty, preaching when mutually' agreed upon between hint •and his successor, and to refer the question of his status to the Assembly, with a view to determining whether Dr Gibb shall remain senior minister or bo grunted the position of minister emeritus. The motion was carried on a show of hands.
