“UP LIKE A ROCKET.”
HON. J. G. COATES. By Telegraph-—Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 31. Speaking at a function to-day, Sir William Hall Jones said it was not Reform, but the Hon. J. G. Coates, who won the last general election. “Theve is one fellow who does not agree with you,” interjected Mr Coates. “He wrote to me the other day and said ‘ you went up like a sky-rocket, and you’ll come down like a stone.’ ”
