A shocking motor accident occurred at the corner JailpAnzae Avenue and Be ach (Road/' at' eix o’clock to-night, resulting 1 ,ir» ,tho death of one occupant of a mottir bar .which came intcV-violent collision with a 'ti^m-car. The motor wasi.’being driven down Anzac Avenue! and, crossed two sets‘of tram raifiT' ibn' Beach Road After crossing the rails, the motor apparently swerved back on to jthe, rails, a collision then occurring, with great violence. The force ojf*fthp impact wrecked the motor, -whiles tlie froei platform of the tram was 'somewhat (damaged. It was at onco 'seen that tho three occupants of the car were injured, two very seriously. They were hurried to hospital, where Frank Wilson, of Hamilton, died shortly after admission, i'loni grave head injuries. A. Z. Dickinson, of Wainui House, Symonds Street, sustained very serious head injuries, and is .still unconscious. Leonard Jackson, of Hamilton, also received head injuries, but his condition is not considcerd serious.

The occupants of the car were returning from a bowling match. It is not known who was driving the tion is not considered serious.
