WORK AT ADDINGTON.
MR T. E. TAYLOR AND THE MANAGER.
Per Press Association. CmUSTCHURCH, Jan. 30. Regarding the Addington workshops inquiry, Mr T. E. Taylor, M.P., has sent the following telegram to the Hon. J. A. Millar, Minister of Railways: — "Whilst general satisfaction is expressed at your decision to hold a public instead of a departmental inquiry into Mr Ronayne's serious charges of the 'dishonesty and 'incompetence of officials and workmen at the Addington workshops, it is urged iihat it is necessary and only just to those accused that the general manager's methods of control and anministrative ability should also be fully inquired into. Will the order of reference be wide enough to permit of this being done?" Mr Taylor has not yet received a reply from the Minister.
