All goes on well with the line to the South. The line is quite complete now for more than two miles beyond the Omaha Creek, and the. poles are up nearly as far as the hush, the wires on which will be strung in a day or two. As lias been noticed before, the hush falling is getting on a pace, six miles of the eight contained in the large bush being cleared. At the Katikati end work lias begun, and the poles are up for some distance. Mr Floyd proceeds to Ohinemuri this morning, when lie will be joined by Mr Mackay and they will start on to Katikati together on business connected with the line.
