THE TICHBORNE CLAIMANT.

Sydney, Dec. 19. A Qaeanbeyan newspaper gives currency to the report that a high authoiity states that tha identity of William Cresswell with Roger Tichborne wilL, shortly be established beyond doubt. Cresswell is at present in Paramatta Asylum. OrtoD, the claimant, lived for come time with Creiswell, which it is alleged will account for his knowledge of the facts that enabled him to make his claim. A number of documents written by Cresswell, who had previously beeu known as Castro,have been identified as in the handwriting of Roger Tichborne. Facsimiles of Cresswell's writing have been forwarded to the Marquis of Zetland, Lord Petrie, and the London Times. A medical examination of Cresswell reveals marks known to be on the body of Sir Roger.
