FOOTBALL.
Geraldine White Stab v. Woodbury Hangers. The return match between the above teams was played on the Geraldine Domain on Thursday afternoon last, and resulted in a draw each side scoring a try, Geraldine won the toss and played with their backs to the sun. Woodbury kicked off, and a few minutes after play was started Bowie, for the Rangers, scored a try after a splendid run. In the next spell F. Fish scored for Geraldine. Both teams were very evenly matched, Woodbury, if anything, having a slight advantage in the scrums. For the Rangers Bowie, Fiefield, Lawlor, Flatman and Richards did good service, while for Geraldine, Lysaght, Taylor, Colbert and Googan played up well. Mr Geo. South acted as referee.
The following will play for Winchester in their match against Orari to-day ; Full-back, J, Cameron; three-quarters, W. Moore, A. Opie, J. Moore, W. Fenton ; halves, R. Austin, C. Opie; forwards, G. South, J. Moofe. J. Rose, J. Shallard, A. South, A. Coppin, J. Hart.
