SALVATION ARMY, GERALDINE.

The fourth anniversary tea of the Salavation Army, Geraldine, was held on Tuesday evening, when a great number of people sat down to a substantial tea, provided by the lasses and friends, The Salvation lasses waited at the tables, and after tea a procession was formed to march through the town, headed by a band, made up of members of the Geraldine, Terauka, and Timaru bands conjointly, who played very good music, consid-iiug they had not practiced together before. At the after meeting there was a great crowd of people, the barracks being crowded to the doors. Staff Captain Alderton conducted, and there were also present on the platfoim Mrs Alderton, Captains Dixon, Lomas, and Duggan, the Rev. Mr Woodward, and a host of members of the Army.

Staff Captain Alderton spoke of the good work carried on by the Army throughout the Colony, and of the great moral influence it had.
