GERALDINE HORSE PARADE.

Tha Goraldme horse parade on Tuesday last drow a large attendance of people from the country districts, although the wet weather of the preceding few days kept some owners at a distance from town from

bringing their horses for Bhow. Mr J. Mundell was present, and put the horses through their facings. The following is a list of the horses on parade : CLYDESDALES. Mr J. Ronnie's New Hope, by Good Hope—Gentle Annie, by Argyle. Messrs Toomey & Son's Banker, by Young Banker—Princess Royal. Mr J. Webb's Pride of the Valley, sire by Sir Geo. Grey (imp), Pride of the Taieri—Duchess. THOROUGHBRED. The only thoroughbred on show was Mr W. Deßenzy's Arbiter, by Betrayer— Nancy, by Diomedes (imp). TROTTING STALLIONS. Mr H. Scott's Brazil, by Berlin — Fanny Allen, by Bill Allen. Mr H. Wright's Fleetwood, by Blackwood Abadallah —Fanny, by Admiral. Mr G. F. Lovegrove's Transit Boyal by Mambrino Royal—Venus. PONY. Mr 0. G. Tripp's Black John, by Cairngorm—Briar Leaf, by Quicksilver. The horses were all in excellent condition, and were much admired. We should, however, like to have seen a great many more of them at the parade.
