GERALDINE DOMAIN BOARD.

The Geraldine Domain Board meeting on Tuesday evening was attended by— Messrs A. White (chairman), W. S. Maslin, R. Taylor, R. Y. Ferguson and J. Williams. TENDER. Tenders were received for lease of sections 140 to 147 as under :—J. P. Kallaugher £1 5s per annum, for term of 10 years. John Hay, £2 per annum. Mr Kalaugher's jtender was accepted subject to his signing a lease, and fencing the sections according to specifications. THE SMALL PARK. The chairman called the attention of the board to the disgraceful state of the small park. It was agreed—" That applications be invited for mowing the whole of the grass in the Littlo Park, and keeping it cut, for the season." Use of the small park was granted to the Primitive Methodist Sunday School to hold their annual gathering. THE BIG PARK. The chairman was authorised to have a urinal ereoted at once in the big park. The board then rose. GERALDINE BOAED OF HEALTH. The Geraldine Board of Health met oil Tuesday evening. Present—Messrs A. White (chiirroau), J. Williams, R. ¥. Fergusson, R. Taylor, and W. S. Maslin. THE PAN SYSTEM. The chairman explained that at a public meeting of ratepayers it had been decided that it would be advisable to have the pan system at Geraldine. It was decided—" That the ghairman consult the board's soliQitoj:' as to the proper procedure and the neoessary requirements for bringing the pan sytem into force at Geraldine." It was also resolved—" That the clerk write to the Teinuka Town Board, thanking them for a previous communication, and asking for a copy of their by-law relating to the pau system." DRAINAGE. With regard to the matter of drainage for the town, it was agreed—" That this board does not see its way clear in its present financial state to entertain any scheme of drainage or to employ an engineer to report on tlxe same."
