The Durham miners are seeking to have the eight hours rule brought into force iu the more firmly established pits. Paris, Sept, 21, The dockers at Havre, who struck against a reduction in wages have had their demands conceded New York, Sept, 21, The boys engaged in the gas-works at New Jersey struck as a protest against the employment of Jews, and the affair has resulted in the lock out of 3000 adults
