LABOR QUESTIONS.
London, Jan. 26. Farther outragps on the part of railway hands on strike are reported, and those who were employed by the Caledonian Compiny have destroyed by fire the railway station at Calder Bank, in Ltncas'er.
The North British Railway Company have obtained an order for the arrestment of £20,000 upon the fands of the Scotch Railway Serran's' Society. At a meeting in Edinburgh it was determined to Bupply fands freely in support of the strikers. A quantity of goods and minerals lying uncovered at C.alderbank Btation were set on fire by the ignition of a stook of parafin. Mr Matthews promised a depntation of shipowners to provide police protection in order to present disturbance, and drafts of constables will be detailed immediately for duty. The practice of co-operation among the dockers is growing. It is found that wages are higher and that work is got through more qoickly.
