A TRAGEDY.
Bkisbsne Nov 25. A man named Mark Davis, residing at Spring 1 Hid, Brisbane, late on Sunday night poisoned bimsalf and hia three children, aged respectively nine, five, and two years. They were all taken to the hospital. Davis died next afternoon, but the children are recovering, Davis left the following note dated 20th November, at 12.p.m,, Sunday, addressed to Mrs Kenrick ;—“ I have poaiohed my three children with * Rough on Rats’ and chloroform, and have taken a strong dose myself. I csnnot face life any longer and cannot leave my little ones behind me. You had better send for a policeman to break the door.
