RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Temuka—Monday, Mat 5, 1890. (Before John Talbot and J. T. M. Hayhurst, Esqs,, J.P.'s.) OBSTRUCTING THE PUBLIC THOROUGHFARE. Sarah Emma Noble, a captain of the Salvation Army, was charged, on the information of Constable Morton, with obstructing the public thoroughfare on Sunday, April 27th. Mr Cathro appeared for the defendant, and applied for an adjournment for S6ven days, which was granted. CIVIL OASES. J. J. Heap, an executor in the estate of Elizabeth Heap, v. John Towner—Claim £2 18s 6d.—-Mr Saimond for plaintiff.—Judgment by default, with costs. Chas. Story v. John Lynch—Claim 20s; judgment summons.—Adjourned at the request of plaintiff for 14 days. The Court then rose.
