ARREST OF THE DUKE OF ORLEANS.

Paris, Feb. 9, The Due d’Orleans offered to enlist as a private soldier in the ranks unknown to his family. When news that he had been arrested became known it caused considerable excitement for a time. The statement that the Comto de Paris has abdicated in the Duke’s favor is now reported to be untrue. The Cabinet intend to enforce the law regarding exiles against the Due d’Orieans, who was charged under it before the Correctional Tribune and remanded. The Duke has appealed to President Carnot, 7 . Feb. 10. It lb expected that the Duke of Orleans will be sentenced to a week’s imprisonment and expelled from the country.
