GERALDINE DOMAIN BOARD.
The monthly meeting of this board was held on Tuesday eyemng last. Present—Messrs W. S. Maslin (chairman), A, White, J, Williams, A. Sherratt, R. Taylor, N. Dunlop, and J. Mundeli. CORRESPONDENCE.
A letter was received from Mr J. H. Baker requesting the return of the lease of the bush park, granted to the late Thomas Taylor, as the same required cancelling. SMALL BUSH PARK, An application from the Good Templar Lodge for the use of the small bush park for holding a picnic on New Year’s Day was granted; also a similar application from the Primitive Methodist Sunday School for the small park for Boxing-Day.
MISCELLANEOUS. Tenders were received for the right to cut the grass on the small park and cricket oval for six months, and Mr J. Aitken’s, of £1 17s 6d, accepted. The overseer was instructed to run a barbed wire round the oval to prevent stock getting in as they did at present. | The meeting then terminated.
