GERALDINE SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
meeting of this committee was Held oh Wednesday evening last in the schoolroom. Present —Messrs W. 8. Maslin (chairman), W. H. Walton, J, W. Pye, and'l. Riordan.
HEAD MASTER’S REPORT. h The master’s report as read shower that the average attendance for the past four weeks had been 206, the highest attendance having been 215; PUPIL TEACHER. With regard to the appointment of a pupil teacher it was decided “That the board be written to asking permission to allow Miss Hawke to remain after her term expires as fourth year pupil teacher, failing that, if they would appoint, in terms of master’s letter,” DAMAGED PENCES. ' It was decided to asfcithe board to allow the cost of repairing the fence blown down by the late gale. , It was also decided to apply for the cost of repairing-the school maps, i<■
COH.BESPONDENCE. The committee having . written to the board asking them to endeavour to get the Enabling Bill passed in its original form, a reply was read stating that the Bill had now passed .in its amended form, and any further representations would be useless, ACCOUNTS. Accounts amounting to £2 2s 3d were passed for payment. VISITORS. /. The visitors tor the past month reported having visited the school and finding everything working satisfactorily. Messrs Pye and Walton were appointed visitors for the present month, and the meeting terminated.
