THE WEATHER.

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY. A very heavy nor’-wester set in last evening, raising clouds of dust and small stones, and making things vary unpleasant for those who had to be out in it. At times it blew a gale, and doubtless damage would be done by it. Instances came under our notice last night. The Urge door at the north end of Messrs Gray and Montgomery’s grain store was blown in, and a number of sheets of iron were blown off the roof. The roof of Mr J. Brown’s granary was also damaged, A little rain fell at nine o'clock, and about ten the wind lulled.
