In the last voyago of tho Alameda from Auckland to Sun Francisco a saloon passenger, W. A. Durlack, member of the Sydney firm of Bell and Co., fell overboard on April 4th, and was drowned. Eighteen sacks of ore from the Champion rains, Te Aroha, was brought to Auckland on Monday for shipment to London.
