At the Addington Tarda on "Wednesday fairly large entries of all descriptions of stock were yarded. Fat Cattle—A large entry; a good portion being steers. The demand for any kind of beef was dull, and late rates suffered a further decline. Heavy steers sold at from £5 12s 6d to £6 ss; medium weights, £5 to £5 ss; heifers sold at from £3 103 to £5 7s 6d, being at from 14s 6d to 16s 6d per 1001 b, as per quality. Teal Calves—A small entry, good sorts selling well at front 21s to 29s per head; medium, 8s 6d to lis. Fat Lambs—A small entry. Talues show an improvement over late rates. Primeet lambs at from 8s to 9s 3d j medium, 6s 3d to 7s 6d. Fat Sheep—A moderate entry, quality on the whole being good. A rise in values of from 6d to Is took place. Prime crossbred wethers sold at from 8s 6d to 10a 9d; light weights, 7s to 8s 3d ; crossibred ewes at from 6s 6d to 10s; merino wethers, 4a 9d to 6s lOd, being at from l-|d to lfd, to a shade under 2d per lb. Pigs—A moderate entry, chiefly stores. All lots sold at fully late values. Porkers at from 21s to 30s ; stores, 16s to 325.
