SANGUINARY BATTLE.

Port-au-Prinoe, February 7. Another engagement has taken place between the insurgent forces and the troops of General Legitime, commander of the Government army, On this occasion the latter was routed with considerable slaughter, and the loss of 200 prisoners, including twelve general officers. No quarter was given, and the prisoners were immediately butchered in cold blood, in revenge for the execution of the insurgent leader Hippolyte at the beginning of last month, London, February 7. England ond France have recognised General Legitime as commander of the forces in Hayli.
