PARNELL COMMISSION.
London, December 6. Before the Times-Parnell Commjssion to-day, a witness named Burke, an ilrish former, gave evidence as to the determination arrived it by the Clpnbur branch of the League to murder Lorri Mnnntmorrpf, and stated that 1)0 wn? asked to assist in the murder. The witness deposed that he half consented, but eventually declined to have anything to do with the affair. On the night of the murder the witness 6tated that he was informed by a companion that the deed had been committed, and that Lord Mountmorres was dead, j Sir Charles Russell considerably damaged the witness in cross-examina-tion without, however, shaking the, main points of bis evidence. ; December 7. Molloy, who was arrested in Dublin on a warrant issued by the Parnell Commission, was brought up for examination to-day. He denied that he was one of the " Invincibles," though he was associated with some persons:forming that secret body. 1 ' He was examined as to the Phoenix Park murders, and admitted ihat he bad given information to the Times' agent, who was misled.
