GERALDINE DOMAIN BOARD.
The usual monthly meeting of this Board was held on Tuesday evening last. Present —Messrs W. S. Maslin (Chairman), A. Sheratt, N. Dunlop, J. Williams, J. Mundell, A. White and E. Taylor. MINUTES. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. It was resolved to call for tenders for leasing the large park. The Works Committee were authorised to accept the tenders for gorse cutting. Mr E. H. Pearpoint waited on the Board and asked permission to erect a wicket gate between his property and the small park. —On the motion of Mr J. Mundell, seconded by Mr N, Dunlop, it was resolved to rescind tho motion passed previously re the gates. It was resolved on tho motion of Mr «T. Williams, seconded by Mr J. Mundell, that persons be allowed to erect gates between their sections and the park, on the payment of 10s 6d per annum in advance. Mr F. Wilson Smith interviewed the Board on behalf of the Q-eraldine Cricket Club with regard to the keeping in order of the cricket pitch. —It was decided to grant the club the use of the oval and pavilion, with power to cut and sell the grass, subject to their putting and keeping the fence in order. Mr J. Cunningham waited on the Board and asked, on behalf of the Lawn Tennis Club, to be allowed to erect a table under the trees in the small park. —Granted, The meeting then adjourned.
