Bucharest, Dec. 24. The Chamber of Deputies has voted £16,000,000 for the purpose of building forts and procuring armaments for Eoumonia. London, Dec. 24. The commanders of the positions along the entire western frontier have been summoned to Gatcbina. - Count Hatafeldt, German Ambassador to the Court of St. James, started suddenly for Berlin after conferring with the Marquis of Salisbury, who came to London specially for the purposo of interviewing Count Hatzfieldt. The European situation is causing great uneasiness, and tLe complicated reports which are current only add confusion to the difficulty. The Rupsian Government bare given no assurance regarding the movement of troops in Poland through Prince Lohanoff, Russian Ambassador, to the Court of Vienna, nor has any explanation been m?>de to General Sohweinitz or Count Walkenstein, German and Austrian Ambassadors at St. Petersburg. Dec. 26. It is stated that Russia is pressing Turkey to compel Prince Ferdinand to abdicate. General Schweinitz, the German Ambassador at St. Petersburg, has convoyed to Hia Majesty the Czar peaceful assurances from Prince Bismarck.
