London, Oct. 22. A further unemployed demonstration took place to-day, but the proceedings passed off in an orderly manner Oct. 23. At the unemployed meeting in Trafalgar square yesterday, a number of speeches were delivered, in which demands for work fere a prominent foature. The crowd marched to Westminster Abbey, where 2000 attended Divine service. The men, generally speaking, were very orderly in their conduct, and at the conclusion of the service they returned to Trafalgar Square, where they dispersed, The unemployed declare that numbers are marching to London from the provinces to assist in the agitation. Oct. 24. Ac'inp upon advice tendered them by Mr Gladstone, the organised torchlight prochssion to Rotherhithe decided to abandon the idea of carrying torches at the demonstration.
