AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. Melbotjbne, April 5. The Melbourne Manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company, Limited, of New Zealand reports on the local grain market as follows : Wheat, 3s lOd to 3s 11 d, slightly improved tendency. Barley, 4s 9d to 5s 3d, price firmly maintained. Oats : feed sorts, 2s 8d to 2s lOd, steady, not in active demand ; milling, 2s Jldto3s, fair demand ; under bond, 2s Id to 2s lid, quiet. Ryegrass, 3s 1(M to 4s, quotations merely nominal. ENGLISH MARJTETS. London, April 3. At the wool sales 105,000 bales were catalogued, of which 7000 were withdrawn. The French demand is increasing, the German demand is reserved, and the American nominal. Last week's improvement in price has been sustained. April 4.
