The teaching of the preparatory classes is vigorous, The upper class is well advanced. General Remarks.—This school has passed a fairly successful examination. The papers were remarkably neat and well written. I have not seen the writing ex celled in any of the schools 1 huve visited. There is, however, considerable weakness in arithmetic in all the classes, and the geography of class Standard V, was below the usual standard. History has been well taught. The children are orderly and attentive, and behave well. •' Jas. Gibson Gow."
