ST. MARY'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, GERALDINE.
The, Rev. J. Preston, Incumbent of St. Mary's Church, Geraldine, left on a visit tn the Hot Springs on Monday last. For some time the rev. geutlemaa has-been confined to his house, suffering from .a very painful complaint, and his parishionersbeing aware that his medical ad-" rider recommended a visit to the Hot Springs, urged h>m to do so, and als« presented him with a cheque for 100 guineas as:a mark of their, esteem. The loving letters dealing with the matter have been hjajided to us for publication : f- o Bet. and Dbar Sib—Having seen, with great regret, the state of your health, we earnestly entreat that you wUI take, at least, a two months* holiday; in order that you may enjoy a thorough rest and a change of air. We beg you to acoept of the enclosed cheque, and pray, that youmaybe restored to us with renewed health and strength.

After two ' months' change of obene, etc.; I'shall, with God's blessing, be a new man again, and able, in every way, to perform my clerioal duties, and, I trust, with greater earnestness and diligence than I have ever yet dona.
