PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, TEMUKA.
The annual soiree in connection with the Presbyterian, Church, Temuka, took place last night, and was a 8 successful as usual, the attendance at the tea and the meeting that was afterwards held being very large. The weather was all that could be desired. The tables were bountifully provided with good things, and though very, heavy demands were made upon them they proved equal to them and there was enough and to spare.; The following ladies presided at the tables, and did all in their power to make their visitors thoroughly enjoy themselves, viz.: Misses Hay, and Stewart, Misses, Ackroyd and Kussell, Misses Wilson and, Shaw, Misßes Longston and Taylor, Miss, Stewart., and Mrs Hay, Misses ' MbNair and Blylh, arid Miss Morton; Mrs McCaskill, and Mrs Brewer. A full report of the proceedings at the meeting will appear in our next issue.
