AROWHENUA TOWN BOARD.
A meeting of the above was held last Tuesday evening. Present—A'eserd Lee (Chairman), Story, and Austin. MINUTES. The minutes of th« previous meeting were read and confirmed. CORKESPONDENCE. Letters to Mr Sperrey, Mr Baker and the Colonial Secretary were read. RESERVES. The Clerk submitted a list of the reserves within the town boundary, showing the municipal reserves to he 16 toree 2 roods 17 perches; education reserves, 4 acres 3 roods 24 pprohes ; General Government reserves, 4 acre* 89 perches ; reserves not specified, 4. acres 8 roods. After some conversation, Mr Story moved—." That the Chief Surveyor be written to asking him to supply the Board with a colored map of the town, showing the sections sold, and the reserves for municipal purposes," Mr Austin seconded the motion and it was agreed to. The meeting then adjourned.
