THE EASTERN CRISIS.
Sofia, Dec. 3, A large public meeting was held yesterday at Philippopolis, when a resolution was adopted emphatically reaffirming the union of Bulgaria and Roumelia, Constantinople, Dec. 5. King Milan of Setvia has rejected the counter-proposals put forward by Prince Alexander of liulgaria iu reply to the Servian terms of peace. London, Dec. 6. The Bulgarians have demanded the evacuation of Widdin and an indemnity of thirty millions of marks, retaining Pirot as a guarantee until this amount is paid. It is reported that Prince Alexander is inviting a Servian alliance against Turkey.
