London, Jan. 25. General Wolseley has telegraphed to the Government that General Earle’s column reached Hnmdah and started for Berber via Abu Hamed. General Earl had collected his force at a point 35 miles beyond Haradab. The Arabs report that Colonel Sir H. Stewart has arrived at El Mehemneb, Jan. 26. General Wolseley telegraphs from Korti that there is no cause for anxiety as to the position of Colonel Stewart and his column. Cairo, Jan. 26. Telegrams from Korti state that General Earl’s column has reached the Fourth Cataract on the Nile.
