CHRISTCHURCH CORN EXCHANGE.
The Cbrn Exchange report for the | week ending Friday evening, the 15th inst:— The prospect of the grain market during the week, though quiet, shows a slight improvement on the preceding. Wheat, of good sound milling quality, more especially Hunter's and pearl, meets with a little better inquiry for local consump tion, while Tuscan is coming into request for seed purposes. In oats little business has transpired, and no change in values has taken place. Barley is not in any wny affected, and may be quoted for awhile at present prices.
