AUCTIONEERS’ REPORTS. CHKISTCHUBCH. Messrs Robert Wilkin and Co, import:—At the Addington yards on Wednesday 5674 sheep and 297 head of cattle were yarded for the week’s supply, In fat cattle only a moderate lot came forward, the demand for which was again very keen, and the various pens submitted to auction found buyers readily at an average of fully 27s 6d per lOOlbs. We sold Messis Partridgeand Edward’s crossbreds at from 14s 6d to 16s ; crossbred ewes from Pareora estate from 14s 6d to 15s 6d ; on occount of various clients, merino wethers at 12s ; medium quality stores at £5 10s each. Sheepskins, Hides, Tallow and Fat. —Oa Thursday, we catalogued 2260 sheepskins, 73 bags fat, and 60 hides. We sold country crossbreds at 3s sd, 4s 2d, 4s 7<l, 4s lOd, to os 4d; country merinos, at 4s, 4s Id, to 4s 7d ; and for a line of extremely heavy double fleeced skins we obtained 5s lid ; butchers’ crossbreds, 4s 3d, 4s 93, 4s 10.1, 5s Id, to 5s 4d. The latter price was realised for a prime lot of Mr J. Rosewarne’s skins. A line of Messrs Langdon and Judge’s skins also realised 5s Id ; butchers’ merinos, 4s sd, 4s 7d, to 4s 9d. Pat, from 2d per lb, up to 2|d fagood country fat. Tallow, 21s up to 24s 6d. Hides and Calfskins—Hides, green, 3|d ; wet salted, 2£d ; dry salted, 3fd ; cut aud damaged, Calfskins, 3|d per lb.
