At the yards on Wednesday, though the supply of fat cattle was not by any means excessive, last week’s prices were not maintained. Bullocks brought up to £l2. Beef is quoted at 22s to 22s Gd per JOOlbs. Eat sheep were sold at about last week’s prices. Cross-bred mutton (shorn) may be quoted at from 2d to per lb, and in the wool at 3d. Grain. -Wheat —We are unable to report any improvement in either the do mand or value of this cereal, and any quotations are nominal. Good to prime, 4s 3d to 4s Gd ; medium, 4s to 4s 3d; inferior and fowls’ wheat, 2s 3d to 3s 9d. Oats —The demand is limited, and with increasing stocks prices are lower. Prime milling is worth 3s Id to 3s 2d ; good bright feed, 3s to 3s Id ; inferior and discolored. 2s 9d to 2s lid. In barley there have I no transactions.
