As the cheque was not produced, the case was adjourned for fourteen days; coats of defendant being allowed,los, and solicitor’s fee, 21s. t Philp v. Shaw—Claim £3 for board and lodging". Mr Johnston for plaintiff, and Mr Jameson for defendant.. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed, and costs Bs, with, counsel’s fee, 10s 6d. ' His Worship staled that he did not wish to make hurried alterations in regard to allowing professional fees in cases involving sums under £5, but in future no feesi would be allowed, unless in. very ex-j ceptinnal cases.
