MOUNT PEEL ROAD BOARD.
The ordinary monthly meeting of the Board was held in the Road Board office, Peel Forest, on Friday, the 18th iust. PRESENT. The Hon. J. B. A. Acland (Chairman), Messrs ft. Mackay, J. Heney, and C. G. Tripp. MINUTES. The minutes of the previous meeting wore read and confirmed. TENDERS. Tenders for the following contracts were accepted : No. 57—Forming Spur Hoad, Raincliff : Cornelius Flynn, £166 17s. No, 58 Metalling Mount Michael Valley Road : Michael Lynch, £216. No. 59 Metalling Mount Michael Valley Road ; Mid.ad Lynch, £204. jfo. 60 Footbridge. Clayton River. Tenders were declined ; fpAjsi tenders to be called for. No. 61—Metalling on Main Road, Peel Forest : Thomas Sutler, £4O CORRESPONDENCE. The following correspondence was read and considered ; From the Public Works ’Offi -e, Wellington, acknowledging recdp; of thd Board’s letter re the Fuixlie Creek railway
