Arrived—Union Company's s.s. Rotomahana, from Bluff. Parliament meets on the 22nd inst. It is probable that P. Lalor, Esq., Member for Grsnt, will be appointed Speaker, A vote of want of confidence is expected to be proposed on the 27th. Much speculation exists as to the probaric relations between the Hon. Mr B<>rry and Sir John O'Shannassy.

The final returns of the elections show Ministerialists 34, and Opposition 44. The remaining seven members, including Sir John O'Shannassy and Mr Gaunson, are ooked on as doubtful.

Writs have been served on Mr Mcllwvaitli, Premier, the Coloni 1 Treasurer, an 1 on Mr Palmer, Colonial Secretaiy, for L2OOO each, for sitting in the Legislative Assembly, while, as alleged, they were disqualified from doing so. In the Assembly, last night, a Committee was appointed to enquire into the petition of Air Hemman, making allegations against the conduct of the Queensland Government business in London, :n 1 implication Mr Mollwraith the Ti\ mier, and Mr Palmer the Oolouial Sc'ietiuy.
