The Mormons are said to be contemn j plating a general migration from Utali; to Mexico. A conviction has for some : time past been growing that ‘ £ they must go somewhere,’’ and recent events show thot they are preparing fur a move. One indication of their intention is the late departure from Salt Lake City of “ Elder Thatcher ” for the city of Mexico. Elder Thacher is the youngest of the 12 apostles, and is represented as being by far the most abl of the number. During' the past five years Mormon missionaries have been visiting the Northern States of Mexico, and some colonies have been estab'ished within short distances of the . border in Arizona.
