NEW WORKS.

The Surveyor's report having been read-, the following works were order d, viz.'* — Tenders to-be called for re-fom ing a portion of Kakahu road, if agreed to by the Chairman on inspection ; an 18-ioc.; pipci drain to he put- across the main road n >ar Binley’s ; a pipe drain to be put in "V meStreet, near Bryant’s ; a track to be formed near Mr Nicholson’s land, as recommenced by Chairman and Surveyor ; piping to be laid across street near Mr Storey’s land, and side channel cleaned out. The footpaths asked for by Mr Johnston and others last Board day to be formed ;; tenders to be called for erecting a new foot bridge ovei the Temuka River, near Holloways. TENDERS ACCEPT?.D. The following tenders were accepted : No 90 contract, William Kennedy, at 4s per chain. No 91 contract, John Robertson, at le peryaid. No 92 contract, C. Flynn. LlOl IGs 3s. No 93 contract, Butler and Divanei L 341. No 94 contract, F. Turner, at 8s 6d per chain. No 96 contract, W. Fletcher, LllO. No 97 contract, Connor and Sullivau, L 97. No 98 contract, Connor and Sullivan, L 94. • ADJOURNMENT. Accounts amounting to £1718.'4s 7<l were passed for payment, and the meeting adjourned, ■ : ■
