Inquest on Young Child

A verdict in accordance with the medical evidence, that death was due to heart and renal facture from toxic myocarditis and acute nephritis, resulting frc.a bronchopenumonia and pleurisy, was returned by the coroner, Mr. W. H. Woodward, at Waitara yesterday at the adjourned inquest into the death of W'allace Crighton Edwin, 17 month*' old son of Mr. and Mrs. Whare Edwin, Waitara. Evidence by the parents showed that the child, who had not been in the best of health, died suddenly at h a.m. on July 26 whcn in bed with his parents. Constable J. L. Moore also gave formal evidence.
