Soldiers Entertained

Privates H. Snowden, G. Wills and L. Robinson, and Stoker E. Harrison, of the Royal Navy, were entertained at a euchre party and 'dance at Manaia. Euchre prizefwinners were Mrs. N. Davis 1, Mrs. McLean 2; Mr. N. Davis and Mr. G. Luscombe equal 1. The Rev. Mr. Holland spoke. The committee responsible for supper arrangements was Mesdames Cadman, Hobday, Davis, Bull and A. Hanscn. Mrs. Sait played music, assisted by Mr. V. Winter (drums).
