T*he death occurred at Te Awamutu on August 21 of Mr. Charles Lewis Duggan, a well known identity of Taranaki and more especially of Hawera. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. C. L. Duggan, Hawera, and three sons and three daughters. Advice has been receiv'ed at Hawera of the death at Christchurch of the Rev. A. Mason, who was a missionary on furlough from the Solomon Islands. He visited Hawera about three months ago and addressed the Hawera Rotary Club on his experiences during his 28 years' service in the islands.
