Eltham Fancy Dress Ball
Folk danceg performed by Eltham school children were a feature at a fancy dress party in the town hall. The attendance of both children and adults taxed the capacity of the hall. i The headmaster. Mr. H. Vause, paid a tribute to the work of the women's committee. Mr. A. R. Gower assisted with transport, and Mr. R. B. Foord gave the use of his amplifying system. Mr. L. T. Haycock, chairman, spoke on behalf of the school committee. Suppcr was given by parents.
