Bombing Raid Made On Warsaw By Soviet Force
British Official Wireless.
Rec. 10.30 p.m. London, Aug. 22. Soviet aircraft bombed Warsaw, East Prussia and Upper Silesia on Thursday night, according to a Moscow wireless announcement on Friday. The raid was directed against war industries. A large number of fires were started in Warsaw and 19 explosions were observed. All the aircraft returned.
