Disturbances Spreading To Indian Villages

R 9.30 p.m. lL London, Aug. 22. At least five rioters were killed and 10 injured in the Kaira disSirdar Singh, president of the Inffian League of America, at Washington declared that Japan is now training Indian, Burmese and Siamese troops for the battle of India, which could be expected soon after the monsoon season ends on September 15. He added that the United States should mediate to induce Britain to meet the demands of Mr. Gandhi. He also proposed that India's defence should be entrusted to a war council composed of General Sir Archibald Wavell, General Stillv/ell and a Chinese genera1
