Siege of Leningrad Has Lasted One Year
Rec. 11.30 p.m. London, Aug. 21. Moscow radio says that on one sector of the Leningrad front the Germans unsuccessfully counter-attacked 12 times. los.ing 800 men. It is a year to-morrow since Herr Hitler launched the assault against Leningrad, and the city is still fighting on after one of the world's worst twelve months periods.
