Tikorangi School Meeting

At a meeting of the Tikorangi school committee over which Mr. Vickery presided, Mr. A. Smart was appointed a supervisor to assist Mr. Allen and Mr. Soffe in the caif rearing competition. At the end ' of the meeting the committee, teachers, Mrs. Foreman (a past teacher), and Mr. Allen met to make a presentation to Mr. and Mrs. Faull. Mr. Fauil had been secretary for 15 years. The^ chairman referred to Mr. Fauli's work in the district, and presented Mr. and Mrs. Faull with an electric toaster. A flag flve hundred card evening was held by the Tikorangi League Football Club in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vickery. Prizewinners were : Mr. and Mrs. H. Sarten and Mr. C. Furze (winning table), Miss G. Faull, Miss Jean Armstrong and Mr. Armstrong (eonsolation), Mrs. Armstrong (travelling flag).
