Delay In Erection Of Waitara Dental Clinic
Concern at the delay in the erection of a new dental clinic at Waitara was expressed by the Waitara school committee, which asked the cooperation of the Taranaki Education Board in having the work expedited. It was now some months, said the committee, since it was agreed a new clinic should be erected. It was stated that Mr, F. L. Frost. M.P ., intended to interview the department when he was at Wellington this week. ■Expecting grants for some time for A type clinics at Waitara and Fitzroy, he had taken steps to secure certain equipment that might not be available later, said the architect, Mr. C. H. Moore. In view of the undue delay in getting approval for the clinics, certain work in hand might have to be done efore a start could be made. The preparation of a plan for extension of the Inglewood dental clinic was authorised, and application is to be i lade for two-thirds of the estimated cost.
