He added that the stoppage was evidently caused by the • dismissal of the Congress of Industrial j Organisation's Union plant chairman, j and the C.I.O. leaders called the stop- j page a lock-out, while the American j Federation of Labour . officials termed j the trouble cold sabotage of the war effort by the C.I.O. A C.I.O. spokesman j reported that 2000 men were already out, with more joining them constantly.
